These animators review demo reels on a regular basis and know what studios are looking for. With up to 25 years animation and film experience these animators will bring your reel up to par. You can check out the Review Board here.
Our professional animators will critique your work as if you were working for a feature film studio. We can't promise you’ll like the feedback, but we can promise a uniqe one-to-one experience with feedback that will be honest and sincere. We’ll tell you what works and what needs improvement.
Just with a link, its that easy!! On the ‘checkout' - page enter the link to your down-loadable demo reel. The link can be from your personal website or a video site like Vimeo.
The important aspect is that its downloadable.
File size is also important. We recommend that you export your reel as a QuickTime file with H.264 compression. If your reel is up to 1-2 minutes long and its file size is 500-600 MB, use a better codec/compression. Choose a resolution around 640*480 or 800*600.
You need QuickTime Pro to export files with compression. Open your .mov file with QuickTime 7. (QuickTime 10 doesn't have the pro option.) It's confusing, but QuickTime Pro is only available for QuickTime 7.
Choose File - Export - Options - Under 'Compression Type' choose H.264.
We don't need super high-quality images to assess your reel. Try not to make your reel bigger than 200-250 MB..MAX!
If you prefer not to post your reel online, upload it to Vimeo and password protect it. Just remember to send us the password.
To password protect your reel using Vimeo go to Settings - Privacy - Choose Password protected - set a password.
If you prefer to upload your demo reel directly to us we’ll email you with a link to our upload page immediately after we receive confirmation of your purchased feedback session.
Email us at info@reelfeedback.com for a quote and more details.
We currently accept payment via Paypal.
You need a computer with access to the internet and be able to create preferably a Quicktime movie of your reel.
